Building Green
Being "Green Conscience" means breaking the cycle of selfish consumption and learning how to keep in mind responsible consumption to ensure abundance of resources for future genrations. It's a matter of reprogramming current thoughts and behavioral patterns while developing moral principles that inhibit irresponsible actions and encourage sustainable ones.
Building Green should be a practice that puts these ethical opinions into real action. Green construction should have the least amount of impact on the planet from start to finish of a project and on into the future to create an energy efficient home. The rewards, both short and long term, of building green come from: energy efficiency, low costs, conservation of resources and leaves a light footprint on the environment.

The United States Green Building, USGBC, and a program name LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, are implementing and creating guidelines for sustainable building and environmental development. The LEED Green Building Rating System takes a full project approach to sustainability by considering five key areas of human environmental health; sustainable site development, water saving, energy efficiency, material selection and indoor air quality.
